Mutton Shami Kebab by Shabana Choudhury using Ghati Masala

This wonderful recipe, using Veerappa Ghati Masala, has been submitted by Ms Shabana Choudhury.

Mutton Shami kabab

Ingredients:

Meat 700gm boneless
Chana dal 1cup
Onion3medium
Garlic paste 2tsp
Ginger 1tsp
Egg 2wisked
Cooking oil 2to 3cup for shallow frying
Meat massala 1tsp
Veerappa Ghati masala 1 tsp
Cumin corriender powder 1tsp
Chopped mint leaves
Chopped corriender leaves
Red chilli powder 2tsp
Turmeric powder half tsp
Salt to taste

Process –

1. Cooked meat with chana dal onion, ginger garlic paste and mixed other masalas in 8 to 10 cups water. Bring to boil. Cover and cook on law heat until meat is tender and water is reduced.

2. Then remove grind the meat mixture coarsely. Add eggs, powder masalas, half tsp ginger garlic paste, coriander mint leaves knead well the mixture.

3. Make round flat patties. Patties are keep in refrigerator about 10 minutes. Heat oil and shallow or deep fry the kebabs both side, until crispy golden and done 😊
